La-bas Sur Ces Montagnes is again, a piece that looks harder then what it actually is. The key of two sharps (D+/B-) should leave very little room for melodic creativity. The B-flat that present in many passages can be interpreted as lowered Sixth degree (b6) of the D major scale. Besides that issue there is but one passage that is challenging to sing, but should be conquerable with plenty of rehearsal:

The first bar is as written in the work. Second is the enharmonic with solfege in the key of six flats (Gb/Eb-).
